Eltern, die nicht mehr weiter wissen, sich überfordert fühlen und die sich daher professionelle Hilfe suchen, sind weder schlechte Eltern noch unfähig, sondern verantwortungsvoll und mutig.

Hilfe annehmen ist heldenhaft.

Das gilt übrigens nicht

nur für Eltern, sondern für alle.

Und da möchte ich noch gerne ergänzen: Nicht erst dann professionelle Hilfe aufsuchen, wenn die ganze Hütte bereits brennt. Besser frühzeitig entsprechende Signale wahrnehmen und sich trauen, Hilfe in Anspruch zunehmen. Das zu lange Warten macht es für Helfende ungleich schwerer, einen guten Weg aus den Schwierigkeiten zu begleiten.
