@midtsveen I've been using or managing UNIX or UNIX-like operating systems for 20+ years now. Mostly on servers (FreeBSD, Solaris, AIX, Linux), but sometimes on the desktop (FreeBSD, Solaris, and technically the shiny fruit OS when it was certified UNIX).

@midtsveen Windows.
I was a Linux exclusive user for years, but death by a thousand bug bites, small issues that forced me to edit configs, research possible solutions, etc. got tiring.
I kept it going for ~10 years and kept up with major advancements in OS releases, but hit a point where I just wanted to get on the computer and have it work as-is without my monitor resolution going hay-wire, or some other weird issue.
So when I decided to buy a new computer, I figured if it came with Windows I would give it a fair shake, but I'd bail back to Linux at the first sign of trouble.
Thus far, no trouble.
