@raineer I learned just today that sign-in with Mastodon is misleading; it actually makes you a new account.

You can already follow and be followed by folks on either server. But if you want to use that "app" you need an account there.

At least that's my understanding.

It would be nice if it could all be the same ID (mastodon, Pixelfed, lemmy) but I get the difficulty
