The whole day .. THE WHOLE DAY GETTING NUTS for approx 6 lines of code !! It took me the whole day to understand "what the heck is going on !" Ok the stuff is complex, I do have "a number" of various "test programs" to test bits and pieces of our engine to check they perform according to how they should. However do they cover ALL the possible use cases ? OF COURSE NOT ! And then you do something TIIIINY BIIIITSY different that you never done before and KA BLAM comes the bug you NEVER CONT.

CONT. seen before .. also when you are handling N different versions for N different HW architectures and you THINK "sure I already modified this according that" .. and then - today - I realised "YES BUT you forgot 6 lines of code" .. and then I found other 2 smaller bugs, but still present, again "for a stupid case user never done before". I got quite NUTS because even if seeing ( thank you RenderDoc ! ) what was going on took me A LOT to figure out WHY/WHERE this thing was happening. CONT.
