and no, the batteries are not empty, I replaced them recently with industrial-grade ones and the last reported state still was 100% charge

@NikTheDusky I had the exact same situation with an Eve thermostat as well.

It was a pain to get it off and replace it with the old thermostat, since it was three a clock in the night, I misplaced my wrench and the pipes were f***cking hot.

@v0tti it actually looks like it was a contact problem in my case, I left it on and removed the battery cover and just touching the batteries brought it back to life

@NikTheDusky Curios. In my case it would turn on after a while but needed recalibration which did not succeed. I could not get that thermostat to work on any other radiator again.
