So I just found out that my work is binning all the computers we can't upgrade to Windows 11 (which will be a lot!). They can't be arsed to sell off for scrap or charity/schools/parts, they just go straight in the WEEE waste bin once we've recovered the RAM and HDD/SDD.
Then we're told, we can't get new desktops (to replace the ones we're binning) because we're trying to save £18m. "Let us upgrade what we have then" I say.
"No, we don't do that, you shouldn't be opening desktops/laptops" 🤦🏻♂️
