Question to #science bubble.
Does #zenodo gets the copyright when I upload stuff?
Cant find anything in terms of use.
But the journal I'm currently publishing in asks me to cite as "Me, my work (2024). Copyright Zenodo (2024) under a Creative Commons License."
An I think this is not correct.

I'll change the sentence to "Me, my work (2024). Available at Zenodo under a Crative Common License."
Lets see.
And yes. I cited the work in the initial version. But just as a reference. I'm ok with the clarification.

@M
Zenodo does not get copy rights.
"Zenodo is a general-purpose repository and all content is uploaded by our users, and hence Zenodo does not own the content being uploaded."
Depending on the licence you used, you can of course reuse your own (or other people's) works.

But you cannot give another journal exclusive rights on the same work/figures. At least this is how I understand it.

@carbonwoman Thanks. That was the point I was looking for.
I just had found the terms of use ( https://about.zenodo.org/terms/ )
So I hope the journal will accept the term "Available at"
