Yes, I know there are small LLMs that run locally and can be marginally useful. But they legitimize #LLM technology and all it’s evils (plundering creators & renting them back their own creative work).
Yes, I know they can be used for assistive technologies, but I actually think this is an ablist view (we can finally automate getting those pesky disabled people off our backs). If you can’t be bothered to write #AltText, you are the problem in search of a (bad) solution.
