Today I reconnected with my archive of stories and poems. I edited a short story I wrote in October 2017. It was a surprisingly good second-person present-tense experiment. I don't remember writing it but I recognise my own writing style. The ending was exactly the sort of ending I was into during that time too. I know my own work. I say it was surprisingly good because I truly enjoyed reading it as if for the first time.
Then I began to edit.
