I'm on maternity leave and walk around a lot in the suburbs of Copenhagen and feels a bit alienated by all the Teslas.
This Tesla made me smile and made me happy I never could afford one!

@siggi I thought about it on my bike today: I think a lot of the success of Tesla has always had a relation to the persona of Elon Musk. Suddenly, regular middle aged men could play it cool and live a second youth again by buying and driving a Tesla. It had a lot to do with the lifestyle coming with the car, right?
It's strange to me to see claims like: this car has nothing to do with the CEO. It does, bro.
Of course we all see how obviously gloomy Musk's influence is now having on the international political scene, but wasn't there already some of that before, well maybe more hidden, but in a way that is now shameful for Tesla users to admit? Some kind of sexy motherfucker boomer kind of vibe.
Some of us have seen it from the start and got quite repelled at that red flag.
I think a part of those that invested in these crappy car some years are just ashamed to be demasked.
What do you think?

@phoenix_1312 @siggi
Yah elon did shitty things before like his union busting, his colonial ambitions for lithium mining, stealing Berlin residents water, being shitty to his queer child etc etc. But people didn't wanna hear it. "Before he went crazy" is very disingenious
