I also recognize some folks literally can’t afford to do that. The best I can probably do is not give the Costcos of the world my business, never mind the real fact that I literally cannot fit the things they sell in my cabinets nor use up a singleton of the sizes they sell before the food goes bad! I’d rather support a local farmer’s crop share or a small grocery as long as I have the ability to.

@kaoudis Are there any non-chain grocery stores in Boulder? The smallest chain I can think of is maybe Luckys but that is still a chain.

@jrward there are CSAs and corner stores, but there’s no non-chain “complete” grocery store I know of either, you’re right. There are some things one literally cannot get except at a chain grocery, they’re basically impossible to avoid more than in part :/
