@paul @threedaymonk @mwl 'learn' was a set of interactive scripts supplied with v7 (?) Unix that taught you how to use it (including 'ed') - they were pretty neat (I only played with them a couple of times); they're documented here: https://wolfram.schneider.org/bsd/7thEdManVol2/learn/learn.html
