Fair advance warning for the election season ahead in Canada: don’t you dare tell me you’ll support the Conservatives “because the economy”

… Conservatives consistently have the worst track record for economic performance, and the growth they do create is more unevenly distributed.

If you are going to support the CPC at least come up with a believable excuse, like “I want to punch down on the homeless and trans people”

I was talking to a former red Tory MP (1970s era). He donated last year to the federal NDP, as he was impressed by what they got out of the supply and confidence agreement. Which i think says something about both the fed conservatives and the NDP. At any rate, he wants nothing to do with the current Conservative party.
