Someone finally did a reasonably comprehensive writeup on the sexual assault allegations that came out initially about Neil Gaiman. It's pretty bad.

It seems likely that the stories we know about are really just part of the story.

The more I think about how embedded he is in nerd culture, the more it sucks. Whedonesque.

@mav Thia one hits harder than Whedon ever did for me.

I was a huge fan of his work. having met him several times, I would never have suspected. But that is the dynamic that protects abusers.

Terrible.

I feel for the victims in this. so much trauma and bravery.

@lordbowlich @thegibson It's .. not great. I mean, I guess saying "it's better than Weinstein, or Cosby" is true and yet I don't know how much that kind of moral philosophy really matters.
