@RecurringBloatware when I was a kid I remember being woken up in the middle of the night to a commotion. The repo people had come to take my dad's car because he was behind on payments. They couldn't get to it because it was in the garage and there was an argument between them and my parents. After they left my dad took the car and drove off. My mom explained that they were going to hide the car at my uncles house until they could get caught up. At the time my dad commuted to los Angeles for work and if they'd taken the car he wouldn't be able to work and we'd have lost the house too.
