was reminded of the first really detailed thing I designed for 3d printing. in openscad.
I don't understand any of this code anymore but to be fair I would struggle to design this same part in onshape
(I owned a 2006 ford focus with plastic hubcaps and an individual plastic cap on each lugnut. most of those caps were gone)

the cool thing is that since the retention mechanism was built into the stupid plastic hubcaps, even though I printed 16 of these or whatever, at least 4 fell out the first time I left my driveway because the tabs were broken

and even though my computer has at least twice (I think 4x tho) as much ram as it did when I made this, openscad still crashes instead of rendering a smoother object
