testing out Metalabel, a platform for mixed format releases.
this really is an experiment, not sure if I will add more on there, but it has some appeal to me for including video or other media in future releases.
so far I've uploaded the Outgoing Decent Area soundtrack, with one extra bonus file, a video tour I recorded while the Web VR version was still active.

@trashpandaqc Huh, interesting platform. Pretty cool that it's agnostic regarding artistic format, medium. Not sure how limited editions work with digital releases, but at least they don't mention NFTs! Kinda suspicious of these entrepreneurial types, coming from Kickstarter and Etsy. And they're on Xitter and Substack (don't they have a nazi problem too?), which in this day and age is like, why? Especially given their stated operating philosophy. But still curious to see how it develops.

@dequalsrxt yeah, the language of it reminds me of something like Nina Protocol, but without the crypto stuff. I don’t know the people involved aside from meeting one at an art publishers fair - mostly checked it out because I recognized some of the artists, like Extreme Animals and Mark Fingerhut. didn’t know that/also not sure re: Substack, appreciate the heads up!

@trashpandaqc I think it's old news at this point, but I guess they hosted some nasty people, were resistant to removing them but relented (?). Typical tech-y 'free speech' nonsense. I'm not well-versed in that section of the internet though.
edit: only heard of Nina Protocol very recently, from a brief bit of reading, I think I will remain ignorant on that one.
