Coven Farm

Week 16 Year 1

Here ends my first year on the farm. It's been a great year, but not much to say about this week really.

The Feast of the Winter Star went well. Caroline seemed to really enjoy the Stardrop Tea I gave her, though I wish I could have made her some fresh tea from a plant of my own. Clint surprised me with an Iridium Bar! He played it off like it was a poor gift but all he could afford. This is only my second ever Iridium Bar, so I'm quite pleased with it.

Most of this week, I spent cleaning up the farm in preparation for spring. Cut down all the trees that were growing on tillable soil. I have nothing against them, of course. I just want to make sure my bluegrass is able to really go wild. I left plenty of trees on the land I can't plant on, anyway.

Got Robin upgrading my coop just before the year ended, so I'll be able to keep ducks alongside my chickens, soon! Gonna have to start working on automating my farm a bit if I want to seriously expand my variety of product offerings. The chickens are easy enough, but adding ducks and then, eventually, cows and goats, is going to be a serious drain on my time. Coupled with trying to keep up with planting... Whew. Got my work cut out for me.
