The Jackal was very good I must say. It reminds me of course of 1975, when a significant incident occurred during an OPEC meeting when members were taken hostage by only six terrorists at the Vienna International Centre. Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, a Venezuelan took the name Carlos the Jackal inspired no doubt by Freddie's book. They got away, by negotiating safe passage with their hostages. "Arm of the Arab Revolution" had help from the Libyans of course. Arab tensions were as ever high. /1

It doesn't take place at that venue anymore - the InterContinental about 7 minutes away from this church. The 190th meeting is in June where no doubt "drill baby drill" will be under discussion, as will Ukraine and European gas. Shulginov will be hanging around like a bad smell. What would it take to get $25m man Maduro to show though.

You could be on a C17 at Tulnn in 30 minutes if you wanted. Anyway lovely church.

Coincidentally we have a fun NATO Summit 2025 taking place that same month. I wonder would dear Donnie be convinced to perhaps be the first US president to address OPEC and tell them what's what. All the heads of state would have to show then. We would need heightened military presence of course. The 8 to Tulnn would have to be clear as water.
