When the new administration takes over, they will begin massive cutbacks and/or elimination of all government agencies, like FEMA, claiming that the private sector will do a better, more efficient job.

The insurance industry is the private sector, and they will fulfill that job with efficiency in California by no longer including coverage for homes from wild fires, nor in Florida from hurricanes.

@Wileymiller When we sold our house, one of the perks was that we’re in an insurance zone, not a fire zone. I bet that goes away soon.
