In another pseudo intellectual rambling billionaire investor Peter Thiel claims that high house prices, a broken education system, and the lack of innovation are the “deepest questions.”

1. Homes are investor assets rather than places to live.

2. Higher education has become a gatekeeping tool for the ultra-rich, preserving privilege under the guise of meritocracy.

3. When education prioritizes market needs over imagination and intelligence, innovation inevitably dies.

@reichenstein If conspiracies are widespread in American politics, business, and science, his expectations are justified. If conspiracies are rarely real, his “great unveiling” is delusional, and seeking conspiracy where none exists is toxic and deranged. Occam's Razor suggests that we should favor the latter.
