The HTMX ethos is delightful, but right now I literally only need/want the simplest hx-post (and hx-swap should default to "outerHTML" imo omg). Loading ~50kb for such a minimal use case is making my heart hurt.

@dz4k I had downloaded v2 and was looking at that, I guess it's 20kb gzipped. Still seems excessive. 😅

Gonna look at your libraries now, whet especially looks like exactly what I had in mind with the data attributes. 🙏
