@Hika yeah, they ended up having to reimburse me for the lost luggage so they cut me a check after about 3 months

@navi oh God was it on the way back or to? I'm going soon and I'm like "yeah should be ok the likelihood of losing my stuff there is low right... wait" yeah affecting what I put in my carry on now

@Hika it was on the way back, and it was through Heathrow airport. But it's always a good idea to have some clothes in your carry-on!

@Hika 2 years ago it was 3 weeks (Spain, France, and the Netherlands), and last year I went for just 1 week/8 days to Ireland/scotland

@Hika haha I had to buy a new coat while in France since it was colder than I expected at the coastal area even though it was peak summer. So I bought one randomly at a convenience store.

Have fun! Traveling alone gave me the opportunity to make new friends, and I met lots of interesting people

@Hika I wasn't completely alone (I was traveling with friends), but there was a week where I was traveling by myself. We took the high speed trains between the cities after buying a euro rail pass.
