As a business with over 500 customers in Washington State, Washington 19.255.010 states that customers must be notified no more than thirty days after a breach is discovered. Puget Sound Energy has failed to meet this legal commitment.

update: there's been no mainstream coverage of this breach, PSE has made no announcement of it, and the Attorney General's office and Utilities and Transportation Commission can't decide whose job it is to enforce

Attorney General's office kicks it to UTC because it's a utility company, and the UTC kicks it back because PSE is in violation of data breach disclosure laws, which is the AG's problem
