This looks handy, a #SecondLife feature request that'll allow low resolution textures to appear sharp instead of blurry on the viewer using Nearest Neighbor filtering: https://feedback.secondlife.com/feature-requests/p/texture-filtering-toggle

No idea if Linden Lab would implement this but it should be easy given it's a built in GL feature.
