It has taken the lawyers longer than I had thought, or hoped to knock all the language that we agreed on into place.

But, today I signed all the divorce papers. I guess from here it goes to court, and because we agreed on everything, a couple days later it comes back and it’s all over.

sad, angry, relieved, excited… all the feels stewing around.

Idk why it’s one of the weirder things to me… but ex is dropping my last name (that’s fine, she asked to take it in the first place), but in a few days there won’t legally be a person with that really familiar name anymore.
