When I grew up in the 80s and early 90s, the Danish stereotype about Germans is that they had mullets. I wonder how many mullet-related national stereotypes exist nowadays. I was reminded of this because I just heard that Brazilians apparently say this about Argentinians.

@pervognsen in polish we say on mullet hairstyle 'czeski piłkarz/hokeista' (czech soccer/hockey player).. :) According to this https://web.archive.org/web/20131202232155/http://doza.o2.pl/?s=4097&t=3326 it was because style was popularised by czech hockey players in American teams, maybe they picked it from Canadians. Article tells also about some aliases: Kentucky waterfall or Neck Warmer. In German it was "Vokuhila".
