so chat im still thinking about going diy, but i have problems understanding dosing

so how do y'all dose your T? i don't wanna do low doses, just typical masculinizing HRT

i keep hearing 3 incredibly different answers so i need more data to do the maths

@skye shots, gel isn't an option for me because it's not available without possibly getting myself yoinked (and also kinda expensive, even if it's preferred to shots)

@kaaskop the only thing i’ve ever heard is the 250 mg every 3 weeks. i did that when i DIY’d, every guy i’ve ever talked to about this did the 250 every 3 weeks (ish, i heard about people doing fuckery where they take half the dose every 10 days but that really only works if you can share with someone because keeping an opened vial is a major infection risk)

now i get it by prescription and it’s still the same

@skye oh also question. say i take the 250mg every 3 weeks, would it be safe to just use the same vial until it runs dry or do i have to dispose it after a certain amount of time no matter the leftovers? (assuming i store it properly)

@kaaskop i only know the vials that contain exactly 1 dose, with the glass top, those are obviously not storable after they were opened. i have heard that there are vials that contain multiple doses, with the rubber top, but i have never used them & i don’t know more about them than google does, sorry :blobcat:
