@case2tv Yeah, at a minimum the applications should cache contents locally and queue updates to be synced when the service is back online.
This would at least minimize the impact of disruption to the extent technically possible.

@profoundlynerdy well their website says “Normally, Proton would have sufficient extra capacity to absorb this load while we debug the problem, but in recent months, we have been migrating our entire infrastructure to a new one based on Kubernetes.”
So I think it is a blip until they’ve finished the migration - I admire the honesty…
