Me and @bright_helpings have had a first go at lacing my new boots. Still needs adjusting but they're at least wearable now.

So I went for a walk to break my new boots in and got a compliment from a passerby.

What she actually said was "I wouldn't want to get kicked in the fanny with those!" but I'll take that as a compliment.

Unfortunately the boots broke me instead and I now have freshly generated and burst blisters on both ankles.
