"Require Face ID" for apps is a very intuitive feature and by intuitive, I mean "it will literally not accept alternate forms of authentication like Apple Watch or passcode", and after several failed Face ID attempts (eg. if you have a mask on and "Face ID with mask" is off), it will ask for passcode...so that it can try Face ID and fail, again.

Like, my Watch and my passcode can be used to unlock my phone in lieu of Face ID, so why does it have to lock down apps I choose to protect with "require Face ID" even harder

@rinmari Face ID sounds like Apple was bribed by various pig departments and spook agencies so they can better steal your info without a warrant.
