Someone needs to make a #COSMIC Matrix client 👀

@edfloreshz

tbh not all apps need a cosmic version, better to focus on something that is not available, or good on all desktops first. For matrix I am currently using Fractal and even though its not perfect its actively developed at this moment I think.

@dieTasse Unfortunately Fractal doesn't work well for me, on KDE Plasma and COSMIC the cursor appears huge due to GTK/libadwaita.

KDE Apps don't look well in COSMIC yet, I believe they are missing the Breeze theme.

COSMIC apps look consistent across desktops, no weird cursors or missing themes.

That's why I suggested it.

@edfloreshz

I see, is it only aesthetic or functional as well? But in any case I understand, sometimes I don't realize the bubble I am in 😀

@dieTasse Fractal is great, I only wish it was better at desktop integration, but then again, that's not completely Fractal's fault.

@edfloreshz I too have been shocked by this. Cosmic apps use their own theme and look right easily. But I guess when a new toolkit is built from the ground up it just works better.
