I’m hugely thankful my mother’s phone is too old to be infested with “Apple Intelligence”, so the fight to spare her from the stress & danger of this gibbering inanity is (for now) confined to kicking Windows Copilot in the face whenever it raises its head.

@WiteWulf @gregeganSF I went from two Android vers to current, recently and intrusive of the o/s GUI is stark.

Not only is Google more tendril-y but the consistent notifications to make me turn on or personalise aspects of the phone that I simply don't want nor need - automated or for-feck-sake Ai Infested - is INFURIaTING.

Example, was offered A.I. Gen 'Live' Animated wallpapers -based on my photo roll - OMG WHY WOULD I NEED THAT BATTERY SAPPING Uncanny Valley NONSENSE !

@gregeganSF The reason certain kinds of scam emails are so bafflingly illiterate is specifically to weed out people likely to catch on, as those people can end up being more trouble than profit. This misfeature will almost certainly sanewash many of those.
