Thinking about finally migrating off of mastodon.social with the whole Meta federation thing, but I’m noticing most of the tech/gamedev-focussed instances are still federated with Threads too.

Any tips on a nice, left-leaning tech/gamedev instance with sensible moderation?

(Also I’m happy to throw a few bucks towards the upkeep of whatever instance I land on)

@swiftcoder You might want to be more specific about what you mean by "sensible moderation". That would help folks narrow down the options to better suit you.

@kristinHenry not going to complain if I post pictures of my cat or other non-tech stuff. I admittedly haven’t been keeping up lately, but some of the early tech instances were not keen on off-topic content
