I finally broke down and ordered an Aeron. Not because they’ve always been cool to own. Not because I like the looks (they’re hideous). I’m just old and my joints hurt and I need an orthopedic seat.

@DunwichType I sat in one for at least 15 years at Adobe and it was consistently comfortable and not a distraction — which was an impressive feat.

@DunwichType Found one on the street years ago. Cleaned it, had it fixed up, and it’s been very good. Apparently they last.

@DunwichType I still have the one I've been sitting in since I started at H&FJ/Co in 2011, and who knows how many butts it had in it before then! Yeah, I wish they were a bit better looking, but function over form I guess.
