Ok let's try the internet lore .. "how do you drill a hole for a BNC connector ? The ones that are like a 9mm diameter round hole but with 2 ( top and bottom ) flat parts at 8mm ? I was thinking 'maybe you drill 8mm and then SOMEWAY you file' or maybe there's a better "home" technique ? I say "home" because industrially they'd use a punch that costs far too many $$$$ Any suggestions ?
