Serious question: would you still love your favorite songs if they were just, like, a single verse repeated three times in a row?

Songs or tunes?
(Many of my favourite songs could not become a verse irrespective of repetition. I can’t think offhand of any which would already fit that mould.)

@electropict I'm thinking of things that traditionally fit the mold/mould of a "song" -- so, strophic, with at least multiple A sections (verses) and probably multiple B sections (choruses), and probably a C section (bridge).

I’ve never thought about it, but I suspect that a good tune can repeat indefinitely and let you listen to all the subtle variations, but repeating the same words just becomes 1+n green bottles eventually. But a good singer could probably do a lot with interesting words, especially interspersed with instrumental rounds.

@electropict lol "1+n green bottles," maybe I'll make some boring repetitive music and call it that
