Progress!! I managed to get the #PinePhonePro screen working on #FreeBSD 🎉 Long way to go yet, but this is a massive step forward for making FreeBSD usable on the device.

@tobykurien Super exciting. I've been dailying pmOS for the past few months, and the experience has definitely had me wishing for a "whole package" OS like one of the BSDs on mobile. Probably quite a ways from anywhere near that reality (especially on a less open device like my OnePlus), but it's nice to know people are working on it.

i'm not a giant fan of freebsd, but i encourage this project, because i want to see some other systems than linux in pine devices.

i also want to see some other phone devices with totally unlocked bootloader supporting linux and freebsd than pine devices. no fastboot or android partitioning.

but there is person who put postmarketos in iphone 6. i think that project is futile and pointless, because apple devices are locked inside out.
