Canned dog food suggestions?

We feed a mix of dry and cans.

Years ago my vet said Science Diet. Now each can is ~$3.50! What? That's more expensive than human chow (CostCo)... Crazy?

I don't want to feed my dog garbage and hurt their health, but I also don't want to spend more on my dog's food than I spend on my own food?

@deafferret I’m not sure if this is something you’d want to do, but I started cooking for my dog about 4 years ago and I haven’t looked back. If you’re interested, I’ll share what I make for her. Depending on the weight of your dog, it may be more reasonable than canned food.

@Saltssaltgirl he’s 110 pounds healthy, and I’ve got a lifetime of my own food management issues, so I don’t think becoming my dog’s nutritionist myself is a good fit… 🙂
