[#]StandingStoneSunday this is the Janet Horne memorial stone in Dornoch. She was supposedly the ‘last witch’ killed in #scotland but even her name is an invention. A woman was executed here in an extrajudicial trial but little is certain. I write about her and this place in my book Ashes & Stones. #witches #witch #histodons
