OMG. There's something the body-centric industry doesn't tell you about losing weight. I've lost 20 pounds over the last couple months, and so far the major difference I see is that the solid fat has been replaced with flabby skin. EW. Somehow, this feels fatter.

@genecowan

I feel like people raised as men are less likely to get it.

I still remember the quiet poignancy of the Dolly Parton line "I haven't left the house without lycra on these thighs since I was fourteen" from Steel Magnolias.

@genecowan Also, the body centric industry is waiting with bated breath to sell you "Compression" everything (mostly very tight and long spandex undershirts and to-the-knee undershorts that are a lot like bike pants without the taint-padding)

TL;DR: You're about to be sold a whole bunch of man-taxed Spanx.

And also remember that nearly every bodybuilder that is "ripped/shredded" is so dehydrated in every one of their photoshoots that they are about to pass out.

@genecowan I feel like some pioneering drag queens have kinda set that up with those sticky bandages to help fight bursitis that you see on Volleyballer's shoulders... Otherwise... Turtleneck layering.
