@trashcaster my housemate said everyone at the Kaiser Permanente clinic (staff AND patients) were masked this week. Not sure if I believe him, but maybe some people are starting to wake up.

@RebelGeek99 Trained medical staff deciding as a group that they want to live? I don't know if I believe him either. Most doctors and nurses I've seen don't mask. Not surprised if all their patients followed suit given the example set though. I hope that's all true.

@trashcaster yeah I know, it seems a little far-fetched to me, too.

Every last clinician I've encountered IRL since 2022 (excluding one MA that's a close friend) has thrown caution to the wind entirely, their LinkedIn and Instagram feeds are full of selfies packing into conferences, restaurants, clubs, not a mask in sight.

I wonder if something changed? Maybe Maskless Mandy got Long COVID too, like old Racquel Wallaby or whoever that was after Fauci, she disappeared from sight completely.
