Meta has been horrible for years so I don’t know why today’s shit is the bridge too far, but it is. I deactivated my Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Fuck Meta entirely.

Only 5% of your FB feed is from your follows. The rest is advertising and "you might like" content. It's 95% enshittified. Are you locked in because of your friends and family, or because you're marginally making money there?

The last time I used Insta, I couldn't use the feed at all without wondering whose feed it was. It certainly wasn't "mine." Again, unless you're making money, there are better sites.
