@paninid @fkaOctaviaKeats well... It is both. I wrote a game/story setting. But it is inspiring and there is at least one spill over into reality I know: http://solarpunk-pioneers.org/

And local solarpunk improvements are achievable.

The tech level in my fiction is: "there are at least prototypes existing".
