@Brad I find it difficult to believe that insurers would be “stymied” by this - they have very highly paid actuaries who specialize in knowing all the possible factors that explain all of this. They are famous for not being vibe and cope driven.

@Brad Puzzling only to the willfully blind. Insurers, like other capitalists, vaunt their objectivity and their single-minded devotion to the bottom line, but their ideological illusions take precedence even over those hardboiled capitalist virtues. #COVID19 #LongCOVID

@Brad This is no surprise to me. I expected this after we started seeing long hall covid. Also, many abuse their bodies in general aka bad office setups and more. :(

There is something very lolsob about the second section where the rise in mental health problems - which is AFAIK one of the most common Long COVID symptoms - is attributed to "pandemic-related isolation, loss of loved ones, financial hardships, and economic uncertainties".

People just can't be helped. It's gonna take at least another year of on-the-nose Long COVID effects for people to start being like "maybe we should stop getting COVID?"

@Brad Everything is baffling if you refuse to read anything or look at anything or listen to anyone.

I picture these people wandering around like little infants, constantly surprised at the wind, the sun, and the rain.😆
