nothing like starting the year bisecting a RHEL-8 kernel bug on an AMD FX-8350 as it's the machine I can fit the necessary GPUs.

@airlied well, there are nicer CPUs to compile kernels on, but at least you got one of the better Piledriver ones. The low end in that μarch are APUs with 2 cores and no L3 cache, those are no fun to do stuff on.

How long do you have to wait for a bisect step?

@brot the first few steps were 15 mins or so, once it got closer to the end it was down to 2-3 mins most of which was probably gzip on the United, which I was too lazy to avoid!
