We had to say goodbye to our beautiful 14 year old girl today. Although the prescriptions have been managing her liver tumors and seizures (and arthritis and allergies) well for over a year, she suddenly got lethargic around 2pm and had trouble standing up and breathing. The vet confirmed that she was having trouble getting oxygen and there was free fluid in the spleen. She was trying to hide her pain, but we knew it was there and the only options would maybe help for hours, not even days or weeks. We already miss her so much. #DogsOfMastodon
