Never use Nvidia in #fedora. Especially that GE fork.
My next system is a 8700G + 6800 XT build for precisely this reason.
I would have gone for a dual slot 6900 XT but the power budget locks would have been too much. (It's a Dell OEM GPU)

@JackRacc Huh? It should be supported. We have some very helpful and active people on discussion.fedoraproject.org wrt nVidia on Fedora. Generally speaking, nVidia on Fedora has never been better.
(That said, I still strongly prefer AMD GPUs on Linux for most things because low hassle isn't no hassle.)

@vwbusguy We got the split between open headers and proprietary that some people don't know the finer details about. Rolling tends to work better when everything is open, not just select things. A roll-up to a new driver series on Nvidia usually breaks a lot of things. Back in the day it was enough that I had to freeze the third party repo to make my machine stable.
