@retech The art deco look of that radio is so cool! Did you modify it for your sculpture or did things like paint, rust and knobs look like that already?

@compfu The body is an early '80's reproduction. In horrid shape with bad lamination. So chose the paint. Knobs are taken from a 30's radio. The front bezel is original to the piece. Copper struts are mine as well as rest of CRT mounting.

The pic doesn't show it, but the screen is functional and the unit plays video on a continuous loop. Adjustable volume as well as other lighting effects.

I have a vid of it somewhere I can dig up if you want. I make a lot of Ansibles. One of my favourites.
