Genesis Chapter 1:

A most fascinating start. The Book of Genesis was written by Moses when comissioned by God to trace back the history of mankind.

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth", is a profound statement. Unlike evolutionists who says it was at random or false religions teaching it was a plethora of gods who created the universe, it was but one: the True God.

All things were created to him and he did not need evolution to create all living things.

The chapter closes out with God making humans in his image. All humans ought to have the capacity to bear his qualities of love, wisdom, justice, and power. Though imperfect, he purposed we were to enjoy Earth, populate it, and care for all living things.

When you are feeling down, always remember: God has a purpose for us. And it was not the pain and wickedness we bear today. Also, it shows that if he can create the physical universe, and is not beloden to time and space, how much more will he soon act on our behalf.
